Marketing Content Specialist

Position Summary:

Indio Management seeks a tech-savvy, creative, and resourceful Marketing Content Specialist to join our Corporate Office in Dallas, TX! The Marketing Content Specialist position provides development and implementation of B2B and B2C communication strategies, marketing collateral, social media posts, email communications, and website content.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for digital content management, including content strategy, channel updates, and content calendar updates for the property portfolios.

  • Manages and enhances a comprehensive communication program for current and future residents, including the development of resident surveys (Survey Monkey), newsletters, emails, and web-based communications.

  • Monitor and analyze performance data across digital channels to track engagement and make recommendations to enhance results.

  • Support the operations and execution of brand strategy across internal and external partners, events, and initiatives.

  • Collecting data/research on industry trends and competitors and consolidating information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.

  • Design copy/write for company and marketing initiatives.

  • Create engaging text, image, and video content while monitoring the performance and trends for 40+ websites.

  • Design posts to sustain readers' curiosity and create buzz around new products.

  • Optimizing web performance through SEO, Google Analytics, etc

  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.

  • Report, managing and respond to online reviews and feedback from residents and vendors.

  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.

  • Oversee social media accounts content design.

  • Other duties assigned.

Job Competencies:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Creating and maintaining client/customer relationships

  • Self-motivated yet customer-focused

  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate

  • Strong visual creative ability

  • Strong writing ability

  • Proficient at Photoshop or a similar graphic design program

  • Excellent organizational ability to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment

  • Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), PPC/SEM (Pay-Per-Click/Search Engine Marketing) management, and Google Analytics.

  • Analytically inclined – experience with Excel, Google Docs, and reporting

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, or general equivalency degree (GED)

  • Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.

  • One year of digital and online marketing performance analysis experience.

  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

  • Experienced with content strategy, creation, and optimization for websites, social media, newsletters, etc.
