Revenue Manager

Position Summary:

Indio Management is seeking an organized and analytical Revenue Manager to join our Corporate Office! The Revenue Manager evaluates and analyzes asset performance using the Company's revenue management application and system. The Revenue Manager is responsible for reviewing, understanding, and compiling reports on asset performance. The Revenue Manager is required to be an expert in the pricing application and related procedures, monitors that proper system settings are being utilized, identifies, and reports any issues and problems, and supports the onsite management teams in the daily application of the revenue management system to ensure optimum rental rates and maximum revenues. This individual will act as the advisor for the operations team from implementation, managing daily rent pricing, and ongoing support. The Revenue Manager will also be responsible for training the Regional Director and their property team members on the respective pricing system.

Essential Functions:

  • Accumulate, format, and analyze data within the pricing system and market research data to assess trends and identify potential risks.

  • Review daily rate recommendations and communicate with onsite regional and asset managers related to pricing questions.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with team members at all levels.

  • Evaluate configurations within revenue management software (YieldStar) to ensure alignment with asset strategy

  • Train online and in-person on revenue management concepts and pricing system.

  • Follow complex analytical methodologies.

  • Analyze asset performance and aggregate the results up to a portfolio or sub-market.

  • Research market data to assess trends and alert leadership to potential risks and opportunities

  • Monthly performance measurement analysis and reporting to senior management regarding financial results, revenue management adoption behavior, leasing velocity, and market conditions.

  • Interpret and understand economic, demographic, and supply-demand trends for the U.S. and how they impact real estate fundamentals.

  • Collaborate with relevant associates, bringing credibility, commitment, and energy.

  • Act as a skillful trainer of topics within your area of expertise

  • Identify and execute actionable revenue improvement initiatives and business strategies

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience within the industry may be acceptable.

  • Real estate industry or previous analysis experience is highly preferred.

  • 2+ years Multifamily Operations experience.

  • 3+ years’ experience using LRO and/or YieldStar Revenue Management pricing models (Pricing or Onsite experience)

  • Advanced skills in M.S. Excel, MS PowerPoint, and M.S. Word. • Strong Accounting/Financial knowledge
